                                at Teenage Adventure Weeks

June 19-22: Junior Lifeguards (9:00-5:00pm each day)

Ready...Set... Rescue!! Junior lifeguard training involves safety surveillance, water rescues, CPR/AED training, a First Aid course and actual “on the deck” guarding time as you prepare for your future summer job as a lifeguard. Learn how to run a facility while enforcing pool rules, preventing accidents and working towards patron safety.  All participants will complete who complete the Junior Lifeguarding course will leave with an American Red Cross certificate in Junior Lifeguarding, CPR/AED & First Aid. 

June 26-29: If Teenagers ran the World

Time to put your business skills to the test. Our entrepreneurs will create and run their own company for the week. Business leaders will have to write a business plan, purchase supplies, advertise their company and plan & staff the business for a day as they sell goods to our patrons and neighbors. Let’s see if teenagers could run the world… all company profits will be divided among participants and given out in gift cards at the end of the week.  (Field Trip: Century Theatres and Round Table Pizza)


July 10-13: The Great Outdoors

If you can’t wait to be outside and exploring the world, then this is the week for you. No fun being coped up in the house all summer long. On this adventure, we visit the Franklin Nature Preserve, Granite Arch and Bike/Skate/Ride to a local park. And that’s not all… all participants will also take a wilderness survival course and leave with an American Red Cross certificate. (Field Trips: Monday: Franklin Nature Preserve, Tuesday: Bike/Ride/Skate Day, Wednesday: Granite Arch)

July 17-20: Master Chef

Do you have an eye for food and delicious treats?? Learn how to run a restaurant, a day in the life of a chef, picking out produce or berries and of course doing some cooking and baking. We will learn about main dishes, desserts cooking using fresh ingredients.  (Field Trips: Monday: Restaurant, Wednesday: Produce & Berry Harvesting)

July 24-27: Teenage Talent Show

​Lights, Camera, Action! Dreamed of life on stage? Join us as we visit local theater groups/production companies, musical artists and work on your skills and stage presence here at The Sunshine Event Center. Have a talent you want to share with the world?? Good! We will have a talent show on Thursday!! (Field Trips: Monday: Theater Group Wednesday: Musical Artist)

Keep your teenager active and having fun this summer as they learn life long skills such as CPR & Lifeguard Rescue Skills, how to write a business plan & getting the chance to run their own week long business, becoming a master chef or exploring the great outdoors. Based on the theme of each week our adventure seekers take field trips, achieve American Red Cross certifications or produce a company wide talent show. 

Adventure Seekers 12-15 years old

Costs:  Annual Membership (one - time fee)  $25 per camper

              Camp   $195 per week 

​               Before/After Care available for $44/week from 8:00-9:00am & 3:00-5:00pm


Multi -Week Discount

 1st & 2nd week $195 ea., 3rd & 4th week(s) $175.50 ea., 5th week $165.75 ea.

Can be used for one child or multiple children.  Must enroll in multiple weeks at one time to receive discount. Payment is due at time of enrollment for all camps.
